Overview

Mizan (Arabic for “balance”) manages expenses shared between several people. An administrator creates the accounts, expenses are split into shares, and each payment is documented and reviewed before it is approved.

It is a private workspace by design: there is no public registration and no payment gateway. Every action is recorded in a clear log, so balances can always be traced back to the entries that produced them.

Mizan is an installable, right-to-left progressive web app with light and dark themes, backed by PostgreSQL.
